Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, our team will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. After settling in, you will meet your guide for an engaging city tour of Ulaanbaatar. Your itinerary will include a visit to Zaisan Hill, renowned for its panoramic views of the cityscape. Additionally, you will explore the Gandan Monastery, a significant religious site, and delve into the exhibits at the local museum, providing insights into Mongolia’s rich cultural heritage.

Meet your team at your hotel and embark on a journey towards Terelj National Park. Begin by visiting the iconic Turtle Rock (known as “Melkhii Khad”), a striking granite formation standing 24 meters (79 feet) tall, resembling a turtle. Take a brief stop here for photography before continuing to the Aryabal Meditation Center. Nestled amidst the hills of Terelj National Park, Aryabal is a serene Buddhist temple offering stunning panoramic views of the park.

Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely lunch and settle into traditional Ger (Yurt) camps for your stay. Optional activities for the evening include horseback riding or camel riding, providing a unique way to explore the surrounding landscapes.

Following a delightful breakfast at your Ger camp, we will journey to Tsonjin Boldog to visit the imposing statue of Chinggis Khan. Standing at an impressive 40 meters, this site is more than just a statue—it’s a complex that includes a small museum showcasing Mongolia’s 13th-century history. Here, you can immerse yourself in Mongolian culture by trying on traditional clothing, marveling at a colossal boot, and ascending to the top of the horse’s head for a panoramic view.

Later in the day, we will return to Ulaanbaatar, stopping en route to explore the vibrant open market at Naran Tuul and other notable sites. Finally, you will be chauffeured back to your hotel to relax and reflect on your day’s adventures.

In the morning, meet your guide and driver to begin your journey west of Ulaanbaatar. Along the way, you will visit the Elsen Tasarkhai semi-desert, a easily accessible area of sand dunes located 240 kilometers west of Ulaanbaatar. Here, you can hike on the dunes and experience camel riding in this picturesque desert landscape. After enjoying lunch nearby, we will continue our drive further west to Kharkhorum city.

Kharkhorum holds historical significance as the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Founded in 1220 by Chinggis Khan, it served as a pivotal center for trade along the Silk Road and a vibrant cultural hub bridging East and West. During our visit, we will explore the Kharkhorum Museum to delve into its rich history. We will also visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, constructed on the ruins of Kharkhorum city, which showcases the fusion of Mongolian and Buddhist architectural styles.

Following our explorations, settle into accommodations at a hotel in the quaint village of Kharkhorum, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.

In the morning, we will commence our journey back to Ulaanbaatar. En route, we will make a stop at Khustain Nuruu National Park. Established in 1992, this park serves as a sanctuary for the Takhi, or Przewalski’s Horse, which was reintroduced into Mongolia after becoming extinct in the wild.

We will embark on an off-road adventure within the national park to observe these magnificent wild horses in their natural habitat. Following our exploration, we will enjoy lunch at the park’s entrance before continuing our drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival in the city, you will be transferred to your hotel, concluding our memorable journey through Mongolia’s scenic landscapes and wildlife.
